WHERE WE MEET
We meet every Sunday at 8am, 10am and 5.30 pm at 10 Greenwood St, Wishart. There is plenty of onsite parking or you can catch a 180 bus from Garden City.
At our services we read the bible, sing, pray and hear the bible taught and explained. Our children’s program runs during the 10:30am Sunday service.
During the week we meet in different groups depending on our age and stage of life. Tuesday morning is our Ladies Fellowship group. Friday nights is youth group night with KAOS for kids in years 4-6 and UNITE for high school aged children. We also have home groups during the week who meet either at church or at people’s houses in the local area.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that God made the world and continues to be the loving ruler of the world. It is a good world, and God made it for us to both enjoy and care for.
He has made us as human beings with all our differences and distinctions so that together we might worship him and bring glory to him.
We believe that the brokenness of this world, so evident around us, is the result of our rejection of God’s loving rule as we seek to be masters of our own destinies. Yet God’s love for us does not leave us broken. We believe that Jesus has dealt with that brokenness and gives hope and meaning to those who trust him. Through Jesus we can truly know God and through Jesus we can be forgiven.
We believe that this is the news that transforms us, our community, our nation and our world,
We are an Anglican evangelical church within the Anglican Church of Southern Queensland.
